"Scarves and glasses? Have those not always been the accouterments of the geek and not the runway model? " ~Seth Meyer

I have developed a new love: scarves. Even the name sounds fun. "Scarf." "Scarves." If you look at the word too long it starts to look wrong. Wearing a scarf makes me feel like Audrey Hepburn, or Grace Kelly. If I wanted I could wrap one around my head and be a princess in disguise. Or tie it around my hair to keep my hair from messing as I drive through the countryside with Cary Grant at my elbow.

Scarves are wonderful. And, amazingly enough, they really do keep you warmer! I always thought they were silly and just for show, but I discovered that if my throat is warm, the rest of me stays much warmer.
I also finally discovered the trick to wearing a scarf so that it has that wonderful big knot at your throat instead of wrapping it around so that it chokes.
I plan to wear scarves the whole time I am in Rome, even if it is only so I can run through the streets pretending to be Princess Anne.

I'm confused ... when are you going to Rome?

And, I know what to make you for Christmas! =)

Also, how do you make the "wonderful big knot"? Inquiring minds want to know!
