“Live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air…” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

So for spring break, the fam (and Cami) went to Oahu to visit Ray at BYU-Hawaii. It was way fun. I like breaks where you actually cross the ocean, because then you really feel like you're getting away from it all and don't have to worry about homework, boys, or anything! It's a wonderful feeling.

We did a lot of touristy things, since Cami had never been to Hawaii before. And of course, the Swap Meet! Oh how I love the Swap Meet. Lovely cheap jewelry. . . . I should have bought more. I always resist buying everything I want, but then I leave and realize it could be YEARS before I'm back, and I regret not buying out the whole market!!

The waves were HUGE on North Shore, so we had fun taking pictures of them. The only time we really got in some huge waves was over near Hanauma Bay, and I almost got dragged out to the ocean. Ray had to come rescue me!

Anyhow . . . the break is almost over and classes start tomorrow. I can't even get my head around doing homework again, so perhaps BYU is right and we shouldn't have a spring break. Then again, I'm grateful for the break. And, I've got a lot of fun things to look forward to before school ends. General Conference, Cami (Cadman)'s wedding, Kristin's wedding, Sharon's wedding, and of course, the end of school itself. Then again, not so exciting when you have to take summer classes . . . .
