"If it's not fun, you're not doing it right." ~ Bob Basso

Wow . . . it's been awhile since I have really written anything. Much has happened . . .

Let's see . . . first off, May 1st, Ray and I both graduated. Me with my bachelor's degree in English, and Ray with an associate's degree. It was a good time. The graduation was a little long, but I had a lot of good friends there and my family was able to come, so all in all it was nice.

The day after graduation, Ray and I flew to Orlando! My good friend Julie and her husband, Dusty, are living in Gainesville, Florida while they are going to school, so we went to visit them. We met them in Orlando, along with my friend Dennis, and spent the night there on Saturday night. Then on Sunday, we were off to Disney World! Dennis works for ESPN, so we got into Disney World for free! We went to Animal Kingdom (which is so cool, I highly recommend it) and Magic Kingdom (which is pretty much just like Disneyland, but still cool!). Then we drove to Gainesville.

On Monday, we went to St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States. It was really fun. There was a fort, a lighthouse, and an old main street that were all a lot of fun.

Tuesday we went to Rainbow Springs, and kayaked down the Crystal River. There was a turtle sunbathing on the side of the river, and an ALLIGATOR swam across the river right in front of us!!! We also went to Old Micanopy, which is a little town near Gainesville. They filmed Doc Hollywood there in '91, and apparently that's the biggest thing to ever happen in the city since they're still talking about it.

Wednesday was a fun day. We started out at Dunkin Donuts (why do we not have those in Utah?!) and then we drove to Orlando, just stopping at whatever billboard we thought looked cool. So we ended up going to a chocolate outlet store (SO cool!), an antique mall, an outlet mall, and the biggest McDonalds in the world! Which, was surprisingly fun.

All in all, it's been a great week!!

It sounds like you had a great trip! =)

Are you in Taiwan right now, too? Or is it just Ray and your mom? When does summer school start? You should come down this weekend to see the house ... and help us paint ;-)
