It's finally happened . . . I am 23. Actually, I think this might be one of the most boring ages to be. When you're 21, it's awesome because you're 21. When you're 22, it's exciting because "hey! I'm not 21 anymore!" But 23 . . . really it's got nothing going for it.
Oh well, we'll try to make it a good year anyways! Sis. McFadden said that 23 was her best year, so maybe it will be mine too.
I had a fun little party at home this last weekend, so there are no big plans for today. Just some school stuff, work . . . maybe go out to dinner? We'll see I guess.
I do think that everyone who reads this post should leave me a present (i.e., a comment). I've always wanted to see how many people bother to read my little blog, and that seems like the best way to do it (once I had a little counter, but it counted every time I read it too, so that wasn't accurate).
October 1 is: (in addition to being my birthday)
The National Day of the People's Republic of China (est.1949), all of China is celebrating with me!
International Day for Older Persons (of which I am now one . . . maybe not yet).
The day that Walt Disney World opened in Orlando in 1971.
The day Johnny Carson took over the Tonight Show in 1962.
And the day Julie Andrews was born in 1935.
Really, it's quite an excellent day. Hope it's great for everyone! And, remember to comment!
