“A man who has not been in Italy, is always conscious of an inferiority.” ~ Samuel Johnson

I’m pretty sure everyone knows by now (since I made the largest facebook album ever) that I recently returned from a trip to Italy. My brother, Ray, went on his mission to Italy, so the whole family (plus my dad’s parents) decided to take a trip there to let him practice his Italian.

Here are some highlights from the trip:

The pizza was SO good. In all of Italy it was delicious, but especially in Napoli. Mmm . . . I need to learn to make some good pizza. And build a brick oven. Haha.

Other good food? Gelato! I love pistachio & Nutella gelato together.

The Amalfi coast was beautiful. Pictures can’t even get close. I’ve never seen more beautiful water, and I’ve been to a lot of great beaches!

Other things we did: Pompeii and everything in Rome. Pretty much. Haha. Not really, but we did a lot. I’m a pretty lazy blogger lately, so . . . just look at my facebook pictures and you’ll get the gist of it.

If you like to read about travelling, Ray and his friend Clark are going around the world this summer. Their blog is much more detailed, so check it out:

What beautiful pictures! Jason and I always talk about travelling to other countries, and seeing your pictures is motivating for that. Hope all is well with you!

I love Pizza. And Italy. And some of the very bright, clear water in Europe. Lastly: pistachio was my favorite gelato too.
